Richard gives a keynote presentation in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia March 2009. Richard was invited to give a keynote presentation to 3rd International Conference on Disability and Rehabilitation. The Conference theme was Scientific Research in the Field of Disability and was organised very well by the organising committee. Apparently 4000 people attended over the 4 days, many of them disabled people. Richard's presentation was entitled Giving a Voice to the excluded: lessons from developing inclusive education. This was followed up by a lively workshop in which Richard showed extracts of films he had made and others showing inclusive education working in different cultural and economic circumstances. We were treated very well by our hosts and lots of networking took place on desert trips and meals.
